the dorms

by the den, you'll come to two seperate stair cases that'll lead you to the dorm rooms. one side is the boy's building, the other the girls. they are small, built to room three students each and tend to be messy from previous students. and if you're wishing to sneak into someone else' dorm, make sure you aren't caught!

the hallways

upon leaving the den, you'll find yourself walking through the hallways that seems to be wallpapered by the endless number of lockers. there's the bathrooms, then a staircase that take you to the classrooms. but if you ignore the staircase, you'll find the cafeteria, theater, front office, and the courtyard.

the classrooms

the school prides itself in the many classes they offer but this doesn't seem to compel many students to care. many ditch classes completely to get stoned instead. of course there's plenty of people who are straight A students which pleases the usually very lenient teachers. there's also the very popular art and music room down the hall too.

the dining room

the dining room is just a special name for the crummy cafeteria. it's large yet on busy days it feels too small, too loud, and way too stuffy. the food is decent atleast. it has some good days and quite a few bad ones. but there's always dessert to help the food go down.

the courtyards

the large courtyards is where everyone goes to at one point or another. some eat out here instead inside. some have a smoke, others work up the courage to ask someone out, and it's the place for friends to hang out before class. there are many wooden table sets, benches, potted plants, some shelter, trashbins. then a large meadow where a few kids lie and watch the clouds gently glide by. by the corner of the school's brick building is where fights sometimes break out.

it's a small theater compared to an average sized high school theater but it always manages to seat all the students if you bring in a few extra chairs. the stage is quite fine and the most of the stage controls work. many of the artists star in ballets, talent shows, musicals and plays that are shown here.

the gym

the gym seems older than the rest of the school and is in need of renovations, not that anyone thinks that will happen. jocks are found here alot, and so are a few loners during lunch time. there's a large heavy door that leads into the indoor pool. the door is usually locked when a teacher isn't around... but some students have cleverly found away around this. some spontaneous parties have been known to form at night here.

the romero art gallery

romero art gallery is a quaint older building and it is a cool hang out for the more artistic crowd of students. owned by mr. romero who has gotten older but still just as passionate about art. so lately he's come to feature a select few of artists from the orphanage which brings more hope for the orphan's wild dreams.

the browning apartment complex

larger than a dorm, many students at age 18 with money decide to move here while still attending school. they're a little unkept but when you have money, and a lenient contract, you can decorate the place however you want. the rent is cheap too! and not to mention it's a five minute walk to the school.

the square is across the street of the cinema near the street with the boutiques. it's a beautiful park with long sidewalks. it's full of natural flowers and trees. it's a dazzling place to be at night when all the street lamps shining. in order to keep it from becoming a mess, many students regularly come and clean up [for example by picking up the litter.]

the arcadia is not an arcade, it's a club that demands you to be 18... actually it demands that you at least have a fake liscence. or you could just sneak in through the back. it's a fun-tastic place. upbeat music and colorful lights fill the room. and all the drinks you can want are practically at your finger tips. in a place so happy and carefree; anything can happen.

CAT's the hippest coolest hang out place in the eastern side of town period. it's a sandwich place with very tall windows and high ceilings. it also offers french baked pastries, free fruits, tea, and coffee. but it's more than that. with wireless internet connect, a small stage, many seats. on the small stage in the evenings are chances for students to show off their singing, musical talents, poetry reading, your own films and even fashion shows. but this place isn't about that. it's about making a statement of being high class. in order to get a gig here, you have to know certain people and it's known to being a place of snobbery.

all things groovy

you know when you've reached the western area of town when you spot all things groovy. it's basically a place that had been first opened in the 70s. after a decade, it went under. but in the late 90s it opened again and has been going well now that the school is here. it's got organic food, hemp merchandice, natural healing remedies, beatnik poetry books, bohemian books, lots and lots of tie-dye. but more controversially, marijuana and lsd merchandise.

the market street is usually crowded with shoppers, stands, and cars driving slowly along to get by without running anyone over. there's a few shop buildings here besides the random stands that sell anything from homemade jewlery, to magazines, to food. if you don't have money to shop at saks or miranda's, this is the place to go to. some students take advantage of the consumerism by having their own stands selling whatever they have to sell. some artists paint portraits for people.

julie got her way

julie got her way is another hot hang out, more focused for the musicians. it has a den area where many come just to show off and share their intrumental secrets. then in one direction of the store is where the comic books, novels, magazines, and many cds for sell. the opposite direction you'll find the guitars, drums, and other intruments that are of pretty nice quality and well priced. the owner julie is known for cooking cupcakes and muffins to share to her customers for free. there's always music playing hear, whether it's from the radio, their own playlists, or the customers trying out a new amp with his guitar.

the train station has been long abandoned by any proper owners. so guess who's taken it over? no, not the raccoons, rats, and bums. but the kids! turns out the roomy little shack is just the place for the outcasted group of teens to hang out and even party. there's music, a couch, cards, tables, chairs, cigarettes, broken windows, spare light, drugs, alcohol, and sometimes a fight breaking out. pretty wild, but that's why it's loved by so many.

that's right there's a rave hiding in the woods in this small town. there's music, lights, drinks, and of course that energetic dance floor. it's way more exciting than the train station but it can be more exhausting. many ravers have adopted the plur lifestyle here, drugs are easily found here, even if you weren't searching for it... don't leave your drink unattended.

you mean those sea gulls always flying around and trying to steal my grilled cheese sandwich at sonic are actually here for the beach? yes, you heard right. just drive past the dense woods and train tracks and you'll find the beach. it seems to stretch out forever. a few students, tired of the smalltown life dream of leaving by following the shore. if you look to your right you'll see a large cliff where many people dive into the water off of. oh, and there's no life guard on duty, so watch yourself. farther back from the cliff is the beach house.
